About the Company

About the Role

This role will see you fully responsible for coordinating mostly import sea freight and some air freight movements from vessel arrival right through to client delivery. You'll work closely with customers, shipping lines, transport operators, and customs brokers to ensure shipments move smoothly and timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of import shipments
  • Prepare, process, and verify all import documentation and clearances
  • Liaise with shipping lines, depots, and transport providers
  • Monitor container movements and resolve delays or issues
  • Provide regular shipment updates and support to customers
  • Ensure data accuracy across operating systems and invoicing

About You

  • Proven experience in import sea freight within a forwarding environment
  • Sound understanding of customs, MPI, and import documentation
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with freight operating systems (Cargowise desirable)
  • Clear communicator with a strong service-driven approach
