The role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Services Coordinator to support our sales and operations teams through accurate order processing, customer service, and logistics coordination.

This role is operational and service-focused, with clearly defined scope and strong internal support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Foodservice and Foodstuffs orders accurately and on time
  • Manage order entry, amendments, credits, and returns
  • Provide clear dispatch instructions to support same-day delivery
  • Liaise with warehouse, logistics, and freight providers to resolve delivery issues
  • Handle customer enquiries, service issues, and complaints professionally
  • Produce and distribute daily OOS and CSL reports
  • Communicate stock availability, delivery priorities, and service updates to Sales
  • Coordinate South Island orders via 3PL
  • Maintain accurate system data and complete service-related invoices
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a Customer Service / Customer Services Coordinator role
  • Experience in FMCG, food distribution, logistics, or wholesale environments
  • Strong order processing and administration capability
  • Ability to manage high-volume orders and competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems (advantageous)
