In this role as Communications Manager reporting to the GM Corporate Affairs, you will

  • Get stuck in and support the rollout of TVNZ's communications plan - making sure the right messages land at the right time.
  • Support on communications projects that bring ideas to life and keep things moving.
  • Play your part in helping TVNZ stay strong and sustainable, working towards positive EBITDAF from FY28 and beyond.

What We're Looking For - Tā Mātou e Kimi Nei

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- 3-5 years communications experience
- Strong planning and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to use data-driven insights to inform communication strategies and content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks and resources effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills (particularly written) with the ability to draft and simplify messages to meet internal and external audience needs.
- Creative thinking and storytelling to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences
- An ability to build productive relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience leading and facilitating communications for complex projects
- Proficiency with digital communication tools, platforms, and analytics to amplify reach and measure impact.
- A high level of discretion, integrity and credibility
