The remuneration for this role is $68,000 p.a. (including Kiwisaver)
The opportunity
Wellington Water is seeking an Administrator Private Leaks to manage the end-to-end private leak process from identification through to verified resolution and closure. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customers, councils, and contractors are well-coordinated and that all actions are compliant with the Local Government Act and relevant bylaws.
You will maintain accurate data, issue required notices, monitor progress, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant resolution, while upholding Wellington Water's commitment to exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Coordinating the private leak management process to ensure accurate tracking and timely resolution
- Validating case details and maintaining complete and accurate records across Wellington Water systems
- Issuing formal notifications and correspondence in accordance with statutory and policy requirements
- Monitoring timeframes and liaising with contractors, councils, and internal teams to maintain compliance
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong administrative and data management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven experience in a process-driven or customer service environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence engaging a range of stakeholders
- Proficiency with computer systems such as Maximo or CRM platforms advantageous
- Familiarity with local government or infrastructure operations desirable
