We focus efforts towards ensuring that our District continues to prosper and to support us in this mahi we are looking for an experienced Asset Manager with stormwater expertise to join our Infrastructure Planning Team.
Working from our state of the art civic facility in Central Whangārei as the successful applicant you will be responsible for facilitating efficient delivery of Infrastructure services through excellence in Asset and Activity Management Planning, developing, updating and maintaining Activity/Asset Management Plans, maintenance intervention strategies, and annual maintenance and renewals programmes for the stormwater network, whilst also contributing to the Long Term Plan and Annual Plan development. You will also ensure maintenance and renewals programmes and budgets are backed by Activity/Asset Management Plans and sound business cases and funding applications.
If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role and are eager for us to consider your application you will need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
- Broad engineering experience (minimum five years) in a three waters field with at least some experience and understanding of stormwater
- Significant experience in asset management
- Proficiency in mapping/GIS and Asset management systems
- Experience in data analysis and programme development
- A customer focused attitude
- Ability and desire to work in a manner that is consistent with our organisational tikanga.
