The role
- Reporting to the Manager - Enterprise Technology, this newly created role will oversee the IT service delivery function for Northpower including the management of digital workplace assets and licences. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the ITIL service delivery processes including incident, problem, change, release, and service transition are effective so that digital services are reliable and we consistently achieve service levels targets.
- As the Service Delivery Manager, you also:
- Provide day-to-day supervision of your team and effectively manage the productivity within the department
- Foster strong relationships and provide service delivery governance with vendors and key stakeholders
- Look to optimise digital “run” costs in order to invest more in growth
- Take ownership of major incidents and conduct investigations to minimise future disruption to services
- Schedule, facilitate and lead Change Advisory Board meetings
- Prepare budget recommendations and manage purchases / contracts within budget

You’ll be happy to roll up your sleeves to provide excellent service delivery to our internal stakeholders and be highly active in managing relationships and identifying opportunities. It will take a special person with a wide range of experience, and some of the skills we’re seeking includes:
- Strong Service Delivery background including familiarity with incident management frameworks such as CIMS
- Leadership experience including performance development
- A strong understanding of ITIL principles and/or COBIT
- Industry certifications in IT service management
- Proven experience managing IT assets, software licences (esp Microsoft)
- Excellent communication skills and strong collaborative skills
