The Opportunity
We are looking for a Team Leader Assets
and Delivery to join our Engineering team on a permanent, full time (37.5 hours
per week) basis, in our busy Dunedin office. In this role you will be leading a
multidisciplinary team, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure
compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
The purpose of this position to provide
strategic leadership and oversight for the planning, management, and delivery
of infrastructure projects and asset management programmes. This is a key role
in planning, organising, leading and controlling multiple large and complex
projects, and asset management workstreams.
As a Team Leader Assets and
Delivery, you will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership to the Assets and
Delivery team, ensuring alignment with ORC's strategic goals - Overseeing asset management practices and ensure
compliance with engineering standards - Leading and delivering ORC Engineering's inputs
to Long Term Plans and Annual plans - Leading the development and implementation of
Asset Management Plans and the 30-year Infrastructure Strategy - Leading and delivering ORC Engineering's Capital
Works and Flood Recovery programmes - Providing a program management service, with a
coordinated view of ongoing projects

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil)
or similar experience - Project Management certification
- 10+ years' experience in engineering asset
management and/or project management - 5+ years' experience in people leadership
- Sound project programming and risk management
experience - Strong organisational skills and processes
