We are Taylor Preston - a meat processor and exporter of lamb, mutton, goat, beef, and associated by-products. Established in 1991, we are privately owned and located in the Ngauranga Gorge, 10 minutes from Wellington CBD.

We currently have an opportunity for a Logistics Controller to join our Sales & Marketing Team.

We
are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Controller to enhance the
efficiency of satellite racking and container loading at Taylor Preston Limited
(TPL). The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics
operations, optimizing workflows, and ensuring timely and accurate loading of
containers to meet both company and customer demands effectively and
efficiently.

Our Logistics Controller will report to our Sales & Marketing Manager, but work closely with our Freezer operations team. The usual hours of work are Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Laser focused attention to detail
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with logistics management software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Advanced Excel skill and experience using Navision
