Play a key role in a respected, growing law firm.Here is a rare opportunity for an experienced Office Manager / Trust Account Administrator to join a mid-sized legal practice that is entering an exciting period of expansion. You will administer the trust account, perform the business accounting functions and assist the Partners with the smooth running of the firm.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in accuracy and organisation. You'll handle everything from trust account compliance to payroll, supplier liaison, and general office management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Trust and business account management and reconciliation
- Cashflow reporting and end-of-month summaries
- Payroll processing, GST & PAYE preparation and payment
- Accounts Receivable and Payable
- AML compliance and reporting
- Client statement preparation and online banking
- IT troubleshooting and liaison with suppliers
- Supporting the Partners with overall firm management
About You
You'll be a confident, detail-focused administrator with strong financial acumen and great organisational skills. You'll enjoy taking ownership, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high professional standards.
You'll bring:
- Experience in trust and business account management (legal experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent time-management and communication skills
- Familiarity with Infinity Law, Xero, and Ace Payroll (advantageous)
