Reporting to: Quality Compliance Manager

Industry: Medium-sized domestic FMCG business

We are seeking a talented, professional, and people-focused Quality Assurance Officer to support all aspects of company compliance. Working closely with a motivated and diverse operations team, you will ensure adherence to quality, food safety, and health and safety standards, delivering outstanding results for both the business and our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and proactive individual to join a well-established, fast-paced company. We are particularly looking for someone with strong experience in documenting processes, as this will be a key part of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Document SOPs and training manuals
  • Investigate food quality issues
  • Manage corrective actions and customer complaints
  • Maintain raw material and finished product specification sheets, and manage the supplier approval program
  • Conduct internal GMP audits
  • Verify labels, shelf-life, and process controls, including CCPs
  • Conduct validation of control processes
  • Participate in food safety, H&S, transitional facility, and other ad hoc compliance activities

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience in an FMCG environment
  • Food Technology degree or equivalent
  • Strong initiative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for building relationships and coordinating across multiple departments
  • Experience in industrial further-processed meats or similar operations is advantageous
  • Experience with maintenance of RMP/FCP is preferred
