PART TIME - Checkout Operator

We are looking for someone to bring excitement and join our enthusiastic team of operators and supervisors.

You will need to deliver against a number of weekly and monthly targets including through put rates, customer engagement surveys and scan rates among others. Most importantly, you will need to be able to deliver an outstanding level of customer service to our community.

In this role, you will enjoy the challenge of working alongside an outstanding team that will exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for serving our community, upholding our standards, and complying with regulations.

The role at a glance:

  • Operating checkouts including scanning items, being in the know with special promotions, cash handling and more
  • Giving fantastic customer service that our customers already know and love us for
  • Packing bags and trollies
  • Trolley collection
  • Play a positive role in the culture of our team and working closely with a diverse team

What are we looking for:

  • An ability to work on your own or in a large diverse team
  • A confident person who can create a great customer experience
  • Confident with basic math's and counting for cash handling
  • Ability to speak and understand English at a competent level
  • Can listen to instructions and make things happen
  • A fantastic attitude and work ethic and a passion for helping make a workplace great
  • Ideally previous experience in customer service, cash handling and/or a retail environment.

Days and hours:

Monday: 4pm-9pm

Sunday: 2.30pm-7.30pm
