Part-Time Checkout Supervisor/Online Assistant

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising the daily operation of the checkout department,
  • Serving customers in a warm and welcoming way,
  • Supervising self-serve checkouts and processing lotto transactions,
  • Dealing with cash and payment transactions,
  • Enforcing legislation around the sale of age restricted goods,
  • Operating a checkout, packing groceries,
  • Completing and processing Ishop and UberEATS transactions,
  • Resolving customer complaints,
  • Ensuring all transactions are processed correctly,
  • Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally with a current General Manager's Certificate.
  • Similar retail experience required
  • Must be Physically fit – you will be on your feet all day and moving between checkouts and supervising self-serve checkouts.
  • Customer service driven – you will spend a lot of time helping our customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Reliable with lots of positive attitude, confidence, and maturity.
  • Have a good work ethic and be able to work well under pressure
  • Can cope with the seasonal demands of working in a busy retail team.
  • Weekends working available
