Our secluded location offers you peace and tranquility to relax during your stay, while also allowing you to enjoy the buzz of central Queenstown – just a 7 minute drive away.

All rooms are spacious and have either garden or river views with an outdoor patio or balcony. The Restaurant and Bar is open for breakfast and evening dining each day. Our wellness facilities include a roman-style spa and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

We are seeking passionate and professional Duty Managers to join our pre-opening team at Coronet Ridge Resort. These are full-time permanent positions, starting in mid-late November.

As the Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage facilities. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily restaurant, bar and conference activities, managing staff, and maintaining the high standards Capstone is known for.

Responsibilities:

· Overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

· Monitoring guest reservations

· Assisting in menu planning and special promotions.

· Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.

· Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and food quality.

· Uphold the restaurant's policies and procedures.

· Ensuring a positive and safe working environment for all team members.

· Follow and implement the supply of Alcohol Act.

· Train all staff in food and beverage service to the Hotels standard.

· Responsible for optimising restaurant sales via upselling, coaching and training.

Experience:


•       Prior experience in Food & Beverage.


•       Good written and verbal communication skills.


•       Excellent administrative skills


•       Previous experience in a customer service.


•       Ability to think of your feet and work by yourself.


•       Current Duty Manager Licence


•       NZ resident or applicable Visa.
