We're now looking for a Visitor Experience Manager to lead the front-facing arm of our brand—our beautiful cellar door and visitor experience program. If you're passionate about wine, people, and creating exceptional customer journeys, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As the Visitor Experience Manager, you'll be the face of Yealands for all guests who visit our estate. You'll lead a small, passionate team to deliver outstanding customer service, manage day-to-day cellar door operations, and develop immersive visitor experiences that showcase our wines, values, and story.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership with a hands-on approach and a flair for hospitality, storytelling, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the cellar door and visitor centre team
  • Oversee daily operations, bookings, and customer service standards
  • Develop and implement premium visitor experiences, including tours, tastings, and events
  • Coordinate and manage all internal and external company events
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive traffic and brand engagement
  • Maintain exceptional product knowledge and deliver engaging storytelling
  • Monitor budgets, inventory, and sales performance
  • Ensure health & safety and compliance standards are met at all times

About You

You are a natural host and people-person, with a deep appreciation for wine and a strong operational mindset. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love to make things better - whether that's improving a guest experience or helping a team member grow.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in hospitality, tourism, or cellar door management
  • Excellent team leadership and communication skills
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Confidence using POS systems and managing bookings or events
  • A sound understanding of wine (WSET certification is a plus)
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
