Are you looking for a unique job opportunity in a fun, exciting environment? The International Antarctic Centre is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Cafe team
The RoleYou will be responsible for providing an excellent service to our visitors from around the globe, ensuring they have a memorable experience. Key tasks include:
- Preparing and serving a range of food and beverages (including making great coffee and great sandwiches).
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment.
- Assisting with stock control and daily cafe setup/pack down.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual.
- A positive team player with exceptional communication skills.
- Customer-focused and enjoys interacting with people.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous cafe, barista or hospitality experience is a bonus
Location: International Antarctic Centre, Christchurch.
