**Te wero - The Challenge**

We are looking for a professional administrative support officer, for our Business Compliance, Property Information and Legal Services teams. This position is full-time and with flexible and hybrid working options, this really does provide a great opportunity to get the work-life balance you have been looking for.

Some key responsibilities in this role include:

- Provide general administrative support across the departments including but not limited to organising meetings, workshops and training sessions, preparing agendas and minute taking, raising purchase orders, booking training and travel for team members and administrative support for CPD courses.
- Support the maintenance of intranet/website pages, ensuring information on the web pages is accurate and up to date, and support staff with the collation and publication of reports and information, using the intranet site as tool for Council wide communications.
- Provide administrative support with tasks in relation to Portfolio Management, Contract management, procurement & Business cases e.g., registering procurements, uploading RFx documents and loading Notice to Tenderers to GETS (Government Electronic Tendering System). Undertake basic level Project & Portfolio Management System (PPM System) tasks e.g., adding new users,
- managing user profiles and access issues, liaising with the Vendor and communicating updates to the system to the Project Management Community of Practice, running standard reports. Assisting in the review of all reports for grammatical and punctuation errors.
- Maintaining the financial delegations register, making administrative changes to the register as instructed by the Manager - Legal Services.
- Provide administration support to other departments within the Corporate Services Group as required to ensure the Groups success in achieving its work programs and responsibilities.

**I ā koe - About You**
- Experience in Central government, local Government or Business administration is desirable.
- Proven previous administration and support experience, including financial administration.
- Proven excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Practical experience in drafting professionally pitched memorandums and responses to enquiries.
- Highly developed documentation, report and workflow process writing skills.
- Current driver’s License.
- The ability to maintain confidences and trust, and to act in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
- An ability to interact with and work with a wide range of people of diverse types and in different situations.
- A strong desire to get the best outcomes for our community.
