Senior Security and Resilience Adviser

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the roles
Our Senior Advisers are key to ensuring that new and emerging threats are well understood and appropriate actions taken to keep our people safe wherever they are in the world. Our team of Coordinators, Advisers and Senior Advisers work collaboratively across a range of areas, and are responsible for delivering threat and risk assessments and security and resilience training, providing crisis management advice, and implementing travel risk management and personnel and asset security.
**Key accountabilities for the role are**:
- Lead advice and support for security and resilience queries
- Lead the regional engagement approach, with a particular focus on ensuring strong engagement with our offshore security people
- Analyse key security and resilience risks and provide strong practical advice and guidance on potential solutions to manage risk
- Lead the risk assessment process and provide analysis for significant or complex risk assessments
- Create and maintain key risk documentation
- Periodically provide after-hours duty service
The appointment range for the role is $101, 621 to $137. 487 total remuneration including employer contribution to Kiwisaver.

- Experience in risk management
- Passionate about helping people stay safe and an interest in advancing your security, continuity and risk management career
- Proven experience building, maintaining and leveraging relationships
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion and an ethical approach
- Very confident with technology and able to quickly learn and operate different systems
- Strong qualitative and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
