Your Opportunity
This role will be based at our head office in Auckland to drive sales and revenue targets for the business. Partnering with a dedicated and passionate team, you will be responsible for opening doors to develop and foster new and existing relationships.
You will oversee an existing portfolio of customers, developing and strengthening multi-level relationships. This position is focussed on growing our share of wallet with your customer base and bringing on new business. You will be committed to exceeding budgeted goals and KPIs. Excellent communication and people skills are required to establish rapport and develop effective relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage an existing portfolio of customers
- Resolve customer issues and dissatisfaction
- Establish a call cycle in order to optimise customer service and maintain appropriate customer contact levels.
- Maintain the profile of all customers within the portfolio in terms of contact names, addresses, affiliated companies, service requirements and other relevant information. To be updated and entered in our CRM.
- Review, integrity check and ensure all revenue, rates, cost modelling, billing details and contractual arrangements are in system and valid.
- Maintain a new business pipeline to ensure any loss revenue is quickly replaced.
- Manage each customer in accordance with the annual rate review and ensure each customer is approached in accordance with their rate expiry date for the predetermined increase.
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with management, operational staff and drivers.

This position requires the following qualifications and experience:
Key Skills & Experience
- Key account management experience is essential
- Experience in the Transport and Logistics industry is desired
- Ability to analyse and interpret information
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent customer service, to develop effective relationships
- Ability to establish rapport and build business relationships across multiple layers within each customer.
