We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.
We are part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand's national health service. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, natural content creator - written and digital. There will be lots of variety in the role.
The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in the Communication team providing communication support and helping to find and create engaging content across digital and print channels, as such you will help manage our channels as well as create engaging written and video content.
You will have the opportunity to gather and share some great stories about our awesome team. As well as work with the team to help our people know about new initiatives and change.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
We're seeking for a good communications all-rounder looking for an opportunity to work in a complex but interesting environment. This role will suit someone early in their communications career.

**To be successful in this role, we are looking for**:
- Strong writing skills - with the ability to write creatively and concisely for a range of channels
- High level of language and grammar skills
- Write clearly and concisely for print and digital
- Up-to-date knowledge of communication methods
- Prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- A collaborative approach to work and a great team player
- Digitally savvy
- Resilient with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Creative and action-orientated
- Experience working in a communications setting
- Knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi.
