**Mo**tenei turanga mahi | About the role**
We are looking for an enthusiastic Coordinator to be a part of the Electoral Commission's Communications and Education team. You will join a team at a busy and exciting time as we prepare for the next general election and focus on increasing public awareness and understanding of the electoral system, enrolling and voting.
You will contribute to the team's objectives by providing excellent administrative support to the team to deliver key initiatives for the 2026 General Election, including public information campaigns, online content, publications and resources, and clear and accessible communications for internal and external stakeholders.
This is a fixed term role with an immediate start.
The salary band for this role is $79-$87k
**Primary deliverables include**:
- Providing administrative support to the Communications and Education team, including liaising with providers, budget and invoice tracking, managing meeting invites and minute taking.
- Contribute to delivering publications and resources for internal and external audiences, including liaising with providers and supporting quality assurance processes.
- Building strong, collaborative, and productive relationships with key stakeholders (internal, external partnerships and providers).
- Implementing processes to track and monitor work and ensure filing systems and processes are well maintained.

**To be successful in this role you must have**:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent coordination experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple initiatives and projects at one time.
- High level of computer skills in packages beyond MS Word (including the likes of Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Project).
- Excellent initiative and a team player.
- Ability to support in the planning, developing and delivering resources and publications for different audiences.
