Our Auckland Transport team is looking for a Principal Structural Engineer with strong local experience to lead major and medium-sized infrastructure projects such as Riverlink and the Northland Corridor. With a strong pipeline of work and a focus on team culture, this role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with a successful track record in structural design and project leadership.

**How you’ll make a difference**
- Provide technical leadership across structural projects, ensuring high-quality design and delivery outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Incorporate understanding of local geotechnical conditions, including soil liquefaction, into effective design solutions.

**Qualifications** The qualities that help you thrive**
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Engineering and a strong foundation in structural design.
- 8-10+ years of design experience in New Zealand, with deep knowledge of NZ Standards and the NZTA Bridge Manual.
- Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects, with strong local design experience and expertise in geotechnical conditions, including soil liquefaction considerations.
- Expert user of MIDAS Civil and Pro, including advanced capability in non-linear analysis.
