An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Principal Structural Engineer to become a valued and integral member of our Energy team in Auckland.

You will be joining a well-respected geothermal power team who have a proven track record of providing high quality design and consultancy to our clients. This is an interesting and challenging role where you will be involved in technical design as well as developing and enhancing relationships with our clients.

Day to day responsibilities include;
+ Providing structural technical expertise for project work, by performing design and verification of deliverables

+ Structural and seismic design

+ Developing new business and assisting in the delivery of the strategic objectives of the team

+ Contributing to winning proposals

+ Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for a motivated Principal Structural Engineer who has gained consultancy experience and is able to demonstrate the following;
+ Minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience

+ Successful track record in civil/structural engineering including roads and ground structures (hydraulic structures would be an advantage)

+ Good understanding of geotechnical inputs

+ Seismic design capability

+ Power and industrial project site experience

+ Good communicator and understanding of multidiscipline projects

+ Ability to travel for short term assignments

Preferred Qualifications

+ Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
