- About the role
The
Administrator will work collaboratively within the Department of Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery as well as with other internal and external stakeholders
to provide effective communication to patients, carers, referrers, and health
professionals, along with administration tasks.
To be
successful in this role you will ideally be from a clerical background, be an
excellent communicator and have fantastic organisational skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking front of

house duties including warmly greeting patients and visitors to the
department and direct them to the appropriate area.
- Ensuring referral
letters are processed and all data is entered into our patient management
systems
- Actively manage
telephone and electronic enquiries
- Transcription of clinic
letters
- Organising outpatient

This role

- Demonstrated
perceptiveness and proactive approach in an administrator role. Desirable
- Broad administrative experience

in a health-related field.
- Knowledge of medical
terminology
- Familiarity with the
public hospital system (including the patient management system)
