Client Services provides administrative support to the wider University. Our staff have a wide variety of different specialties, handling broad tasks such as diary management, document drafting, organising travel arrangements, recording meeting minutes, or acting as a point of contact for staff, students and visitors.
The Client Services team is part of the Division of Shared Services, a broader family of staff focused on delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery.
Our successful staff have backgrounds in a range of areas, from front of house to record maintenance, retail to call centre environments. If you are wanting to work in administration, we understand the value of your transferable skills and will support you to learn the rest.
**_The role/Te mahi_**
As an Administrator within Client Services, you will be based in the School of Physiotherapy Clinic in Christchurch. In this position, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support to staff, students and patients in the clinic operated by the University. A strong customer service focus and confidentiality are critical to success in this role.
Accountabilities include:
- A wide range of administrative support for clinics. Including providing reception services; patient registration and updating information; booking appointments; appointment rosters for students and clinicians; processing referrals; assisting clinicians with reporting; utilising computer systems and billing.
- Providing a wide range of general administrative support for clinical staff and students within the clinics.
- Confidential management of patient records.

- Proven experience in a busy administration role where high levels of customer service delivery and confidentiality are expected.
- Experience of working in a clinic environment would be preferable.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of software programmes Word, Outlook, Excel).
Due to the nature of the Shared Services Division, the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and may require performing duties at different workplaces or locations across campus.

This is a permanent, part time position at 0.4 FTE (15 hours per week), located in Christchurch. The salary for this position ranges from $52,035 to $56,401 per year.
