**About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance**
**The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.

**The role**

Due to an internal promotion, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our TTM operations. Reporting to the TTM Network Manager, you will help drive the safe and efficient management of our TTM capability. A key part of your role will be coordinating the delivery of all temporary traffic management activities undertaken on the ASM motorway network.

This role requires specific people management functions, as well as a high degree of planning and organising as the resource coordinator. A focus on team and customer safety is critical. You will have the skills and experience needed to set a clear direction for our TTM operations and ensure that the right outcomes are achieved for ASM.

**Key Skills**:

- Drive to foster a culture based on customer centricity, learning and collaboration
- Ability to guide and coach direct reports to ensure their success in leading the wider TTM team
- Promoting and driving performance development plans
- Coordinating individual team training to provide a measurable uplift in capability
- Establishing clear objectives with staff and monitoring achievement against these objectives
- Robust experience within Temporary Traffic Management
- Proven experience leading a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence teams
- Ability to coach and mentor staff to help them reach their full capability
