**About the Role...**
We have recently acquired a new site based in Rongotai as we expand into the Wellington market to follow our existing successful site in Thorndon. With settlement set down for early September, an opportunity has arisen for an engaging Assistant Manager. As part of their role, they will continue the success of this site and release the potential going forward with the support of the Kennards business.

We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated **Full Time Assistant** Manager** to join our growing team. You will be working as part of a privately owned family-run business recognised as a market leader. As part of your focus, you will be managing customer service both in-store and via inbound phone sales, managing the property presentation/cleanliness standards and achieving and exceeding sales targets.
As this role is hands-on, it would suit an active person who has led a small team in the services and/or retail environment.

As the successful applicant, you will have the following attributes:
- Prior sales experience and proven ability
- A passion for customer service
- A stable work history
- An ability to work within a fourteen-day roster
- Have a 'can do' constructive attitude
- Has great face-to-face customer service skills
- Be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development
- Have the ability to work autonomously when required
- Be a team player
This role will involve some rostered weekend work.
