Due to some exciting developments we are now looking for** **a **Regional Sales Manager** to join our team to develop new business for Tour Time & inspiresport throughout New Zealand & Australia. This key role will be responsible for managing relationships from initial contact through to implementation, ensuring excellence in customer service & delivery at every stage. This will involve you working closely with internal stakeholders including Marketing and Operations as you introduce new businesses and grow our client base.

**No two days are the same in our team, but on a typical day you will**:

- Generate recurring business through promotional & selling activities to clients throughout New Zealand & some sales in Australia
- Identify sales prospects, the development of customer interest and the preparation of quotes, including managing the bid process, and monitoring of the sale of any tour in a dedicated region of New Zealand & some Australia.
- Take responsibility for growing your own sales pipelines, and pitching and presenting to win new business
- Consistently reviewing your sales funnel ensuring there are enough prospects for conversion throughout the year
- Identify new clients and implement a business development plan to ensure success
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key school’s, clubs, colleges & universities
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our operations team, 3rd party suppliers, professional partner clubs and governing bodies; attending supplier and promotional events as required
- Promote excellent customer service throughout the customer journey to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Assist the operations team in the effective delivery of our tours
- Have extensive experience working within the school’s travel or sports travel sector
- Be sales focused with a desire to learn and develop your skills
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be confident and keen to develop your presentation skills
- Be self motivated and be able to manage your own time effectively
- Have a desire to succeed in a competitive environment and work to targets
- Possess a good eye for detail
- Have a passion for sport and travel
- Possess first-hand knowledge of some of the key destinations would be desirable such as Europe, South Africa, North America, and the Caribbean
- Be able to create and deliver accurate costing proposals to the client in a timely fashion
- Must be able to travel regularly both domestically and internationally
- Able to work remotely and use own initiative to meet deadlines
