Saint-Gobain are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to join the team and drive business throughout the Central North Island.

This permanent full time position, reporting to a National Sales Manager will cover Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Gisborne. To be successful you must have proven sales and territory management experience, be someone who can contribute to sales growth for the complete range of products, offer client support, nurturing existing clients and seeking new business opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors
- Identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction including before/aftercare technical support
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned territory
- Collaborate with national sales manager to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large portfolio
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong customer focus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the construction industries is a plus
- Clean, valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory is a must.
