We are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and providing culturally safe care. Within the Māori Health Team (Provider Services) this role provides strategic input and direction relating to sustainability that informs service improvement and system change across the organisation, in order to enable Te Toka Tumai to effectively manaaki Māori patients and whānau throughout their care pathway journey (as outlined in our Te Tiriti o Waitnagi position statement and Māori Strategic Approach). This role works collectively alongside the wider Māori Health Team.
Within Commercial Services, the Sustainability & Risk lead is responsible for driving the vision of reducing carbon emissions across the organisation with a broad scope to lead, manage and co-ordinate the development and implementation of the DHB's Sustainability Strategy and its vision to be carbon neutral by 2050.
