Are you an experienced leader in programme management, passionate about developing high-performing teams and driving excellence in programme delivery?

We are looking for a Programmes Delivery Practice Manager to lead, manage, develop and maintain a strong and effective team of professional programme management specialists.

In this pivotal role, you will shape and enhance the organisations programme management capabilities, ensuring best practices, methodologies and frameworks are embedded across all initiatives. Your leadership will empower teams to deliver complex, high-impact programmes efficiently and effectively.

The position will be focussed on:

- Lead, manage and develop a team of programme management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure high standards in programme delivery by implementing and maintaining best practices, tools and methodologies.
- Drive capability development, coaching and professional growth within the team.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align programme management practices with organisation goals and strategic priorities.
- Monitor performance, provide insights and drive improvement in programme execution and outcomes.
- Stay ahead of industry treads, bringing innovation and new approaches to programme management.

We are looking for an experience professional to shape and enhance our programme management capabilities, ensuring best practices and innovative approaches are embedded across all initiatives.

If you have the following skills and experience, we are keen to hear from you:

- Professional project and/or programme management certificate (e MSP, PRINCE2, Agile certificate).
- Proven experience in leading and developing programme management teams
- Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Proficient in building strong relationships, effectively communicating and collaborating with senior managers, partners and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable engaging and working in partnership with iwi and Tangata whenua
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative, proactive and results driven mindset
- Understanding of the Maori Crown relationship and the obligations of the Crown under te Tiriti o Waitangi

The salary range for this position is $133,952 - $180,611 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
