Your new role:

As the Test Practice Manager, you'll lead testing strategy and uplift for a critical Data & Analytics programme. Working alongside experienced test engineers, data professionals, and business stakeholders, you'll ensure best-practice testing is embedded across the programme. You'll also champion continuous improvement of testing standards, tools, and ways of working.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement end-to-end test strategy for the Data & Analytics programme
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Test Engineers
  • Ensure alignment of test practices with Agile and DevOps delivery models
  • Manage test planning, coverage, execution, and reporting at programme level
  • Lead the uplift of automation, data testing, and performance testing capabilities
  • Drive adoption of modern tooling and frameworks across testing disciplines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional squads to ensure quality delivery outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider quality assurance strategy and roadmap

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years in test leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of test management, automation, and modern data platforms
  • Proven experience delivering in agile environments (sprint-based delivery)
  • Strong background in data testing (ETL, BI, data warehouses, analytics tools)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement and coach testing best practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and enterprise data ecosystems
