An opportunity exists for an** I**nternal Account Manager** working within the Commercial Sales team at Dicker Data. The role provides customer service and sales support to all Dicker Data resellers, liaising with appropriate Dicker Data Specialist, Presales, and/or Licensing personnel for assistance with quotations involving large and/or complex configurations

**What you will do in this role**:

- Work closely with customers and suppliers to develop, maintain, and enhance relationships that ensure the growth of Dicker Data's business and proactively promote and sell Dicker Data's product and services
- Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries and provide quotations and/or information as
required in a timely fashion.
- Proactively distribute product information and pricing to customers, such as product releases,
special promotions, product updates, and marketing activities.
- Ensure CRM is maintained and up to date for your respective territory/portfolio.
- Acquire and maintain vendor Sales Certifications as and when directed.
- Raise deal registrations, submit special pricing requests on our vendors, build desktop/notebook
configurations and generate quotes across all brands.

**What you need to succeed in this role**:

- Minimum of 2 years of successful administrative and sales experience.
- IT industry experience and /or qualification is preferred.
- Numeracy skills, and understanding of financial fundamentals such as gross margin/profit
- Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret and draw conclusions from information.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Proactive orientation with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
