Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive audits to assess the company's internal controls, compliance with regulations, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Ø Evaluate and verify internal financial processes, systems, and outcomes to ensure strict adherence to New Zealand legislative, regulatory, and industry compliance standards in Global Collection and Payout operations including awareness of relevant AML/CFT requirements and ongoing reports to the industry-designated Regulator.

Ø Conduct assessments of financial transactions to identify and address potential risks associated with cross-border fund transfers.

Ø Assess internal operational processes and managerial systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with established policies within the Global Collection and Payout sector.

Ø Propose recommendations for enhancing internal operational procedures to improve overall financial integrity.

Ø Establish and review internal risk management objectives and treasury policies specific to Global Collection and Payout operations.

Ø Supervise cross-border fund transfer processes internally, handling documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant and or financial regulations.

Ø Identify, manage, and report on internal financial risks associated with Global Collection and Payout activities.

Ø Support internal currency management efforts, including monitoring and reporting on internal currency fluctuations in the context of Global Collection and Payout operations.

Ø Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address financial planning and management concerns specific to cross-border transactions.

Ø Develop, reorganize, and implement internal budgetary cost control and accounting systems, incorporating technology for efficient Global Collection and Payout operations.

Ø Analyze and interpret internal information on the financial standing, cost structures, and trading effectiveness within the Global Collection and Payout sector.

Ø Conduct internal audits and investigations, preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports for internal management, shareholders, and governing bodies within the Global Collection and Payout industry. Ensure compliance with regulations.

Ø Report on the existence and effectiveness of internal controls relevant to cross-border financial operations.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Ideal that you have relevant experience but not essential as long as you can demonstrate your audit knowledge and proven accounting skills, particularly familiarity with accounting analysis software to assist your work.

Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial regulations, and internal control frameworks.

Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential to this position.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.

Working hour: 35 hours per week

Location: Auckland
