**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

In this exciting role within the NZ Chief Risk Office team, you will play a strategic part in shaping the future of IAG NZ. You'll support the Executive Manager Risk Advisory & Assurance in advancing risk maturity and overseeing Risk Management Policies and Standards, enhancing operational risk management.

In this dynamic position, you'll lead the Line 2 Risk Advisory team, overseeing key risk classes and ensuring continuous improvement in risk maturity. Your strategic insights, curiosity, and innovative thinking will be crucial for success in this role.

This is a permanent full-time role open to our offices in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Ōtautahi (Christchurch) & Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:

- Demonstrated expertise in creating, managing, or providing guidance on robust risk management frameworks within a financial services organisation or professional consultancy firm.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the insurance industry (preferable).
- High level of personal drive, and enthusiasm, creativity and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills and experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders (including senior management).
