**What our client can offer**:
Our client is a fast paced, fast growing company that operates within key primary industries. They have a focus on sustainability and an excellent workplace culture. This is an office based role, where you will own the data, modelling and reporting functions to add value to the business.

Led by an experienced and supportive IT Manager you will be part of a successful company that is focussed on and excited by taking their business to the next level. You will be given every opportunity to excel, contribute and make a difference.

**What you will do**:
This role will put both your technical and your soft skills to good use. You will engage with stakeholders throughout the business to ascertain their data and reporting needs in line with the company's strategy, objectives and compliance needs. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, backlog management, data analysis and report mockups.

Specific duties may include:

- Champion best practice modelling, and Power BI report design, providing training and support as required
- Taking a user centred approach, understand reporting, insight and analysis needs, and develop approaches and models to meet needs.
- Support the sustainable development of data insight and analysis capability in key user groups such as Sector Analysts
- Ensuring all reporting is completed on schedule in accordance with the agreed timetable

**Skills and experience we are looking for**:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with at least 4 years commercial experience who can demonstrate the following:

- A degree level qualification in Data Science, Analytics or Accounting
- Experience with SQL, Python and Data modelling concepts
- Experience with Power BI and other Business Intelligence Software
- Experience to an advanced level with Excel
- A proactive approach and initiative to solve problems and create opportunities
- A high level of detail so that information and documentation is right first time
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, confidence and the ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of a business.
