**The Ro**le**

This role offers the opportunity to use your technical expertise to design, build & activate claims analytics solutions to improve customer experience and create operational efficiencies.

With a focus on bringing real time machine decisions to the fore of operations, you will also be involved in advancing future strategies and deliver continuous improvement approaches and solutions which satisfy stakeholder needs.

We are looking for a technically capable data analyst with proven practical experience building models and conducting analyses that enhance business decisions. Enabling real time decision making directly enhances the customer experience and sees you at the front line of operational efficiencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to a shared analytics architecture and plan for machine decisioning, claims optimisation and manage components of delivery to that plan.
- Understand stakeholder needs to scope and develop analytical methodologies to generate training data and build advanced analytical models
- Adopt a product management approach to deliver valuable improvements often, continuously improve and meet stakeholder needs.
- Build models and conduct analyses to understand business processes, the impact of changes to customer experience and aiding critical business decisions.
- Build tools and processes supporting the activation of claims and operational analytics within IAG.
- Provide guidance, peer review approaches and completed work for the analysts, senior analysts, and data scientists in the team; as well as contribute to communities of practice.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Degree qualification in a related field, e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or another relevant technical field preferred
- Programming and modelling experience (including extensive use of modelling software such as R and Python).
- Knowledge of analytics and data processing technologies and architectures.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking, grounded in a hands-on ability to deliver.
- Problem solving skills combined with a curious mindset are highly valued.
- Experience with forms of unstructured data is highly valued.
