**About the team/role | Ko te rōpū nei**

Joining a large, skilled, and diverse team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Council fulfils its corporate data reporting obligations, complies with relevant legislation, generates insights and reports, and contributes to earthquake recovery efforts and city rebuilding initiatives. The Senior Data Analyst role will have duties which include mentoring, training, and providing technical advice to colleagues, internal and external customers.

As a Senior Data Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass mentoring, training, and providing technical guidance to colleagues, both internal and external. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to facilitate self-service capabilities for our customers. Effective communication skills will be pivotal in fostering productive relationships among various business units and external partners.
