**What will you be doing?**

At Tower, our DevOps Platform Capability Lead - Azure plays a pivotal leadership role in driving continuous improvement. You'll be the force behind our capability framework, ensuring we deliver beautifully simple and rewarding experiences for our customers.

Your leadership is crucial in understanding and managing the customer impact of changes, helping us create exceptional and seamless solutions.

**You can expect to be across the following**:

- Connect the Platform Engineering chapter to the overall Tower strategy in your area of capability
- Support the capability of the Platform to deliver software swiftly and safely while understanding customer impact
- Support the capability of the Platform Engineering team and it' members
- Support the Capability of the Product to meet the needs of the Customer
- Perform operational support and management of our Azure Cloud Platform and associated observability capabilities.
- Manage Azure resources with Terraform Cloud - including cost optimisation, right-sizing, tagging.
- Create, extend, and troubleshoot build, release, and deployment pipelines.
- Configuration management as code via Ansible.
- Provide technical direction and advice for Azure cloud services.

**What you'll need**

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Solution architecture or design experience with Azure cloud and services
- Real world IT infrastructure operational experience with recent active experience in Azure public cloud
- Practical and current experience working in an SRE/Platform Engineering environment.
- Stong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azures cloud platform and services - consider yourself and expert in this field
- Understand concepts of identity management and role-based access control.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes, Jenkins & Groovy.
- Real world familiarity with PowerShell, MSSQL, SQL Clusters and Windows Server.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining monitoring & alerting for infrastructure & services.
- Familiarity with provisioning services through 'Infrastructure as Code' techniques and practices.
- Proficiency with mentoring & coaching less experienced team members
- Firm understanding of Architecture, SDLC and Product development best practices
- Demonstrated experience in making decisions based on data and business value
