**About the opportunity**
This is an exciting time to join Fonterra, as we standardise, simplify and lift our maturity in DevOps engineering aligning ourselves towards the adoption of Chapters, Platforms and Products with a focus on driving more efficiency, flexibility and velocity enabled through our people, processes and tools.

We are looking for a talented engineering leader to manage, nurture and own our DevOps Platform across Atlassian and Azure. Reporting into the Digital Platforms Manager, the focus of this role is to help Fonterra grow and expand on its DevOps capability.

Partnering with our business to identify opportunities which optimise and enhance our Enterprise DevOps Platform, you will take the lead in continuous improvement practices which drive performance and ensure we continue to provide a service that is fit for purpose.

**About You**:
You will be a DevOps evangelist, passionate about digital enablement, able to communicate and engage effectively with both technology partners and a broad set of business stakeholders and will be focused on delivering true customer value.

With proven excellence in technical leadership, platform ownership and Agile delivery principles, you are able to use these skills to focus on growing and developing DevOps practises across a complex enterprise organisation.

**You will also have**:

- Deep understanding of modern DevOps engineering principles and practises with real world experience demonstrating these
- Strong customer engagement skills and experience in vendor performance management
- The ability to translate business needs into technology outcomes
