Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
Azure DevOps Lead
to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our DevOps strategy and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing DevOps team and work closely with cross-functional teams to enable reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery using Microsoft Azure and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the DevOps team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across environments.
  • Architect, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and environments.
  • Partner with development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
    Terraform
    and
    Ansible
    .
  • Implement and administer Azure DevOps services including:
  • Azure Boards
  • Azure Repos
  • Azure Pipelines
  • Azure Test Plans
  • Azure Artifacts
  • Manage and operate container platforms using
    Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
    and
    Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)
    .
  • Implement and maintain version control and deployment workflows using
    GitHub
    ,
    Nexus Repository
    , and
    ArgoCD
    .
  • Monitor environments, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Continuously optimise system scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Enforce cloud security best practices and ensure systems meet organisational security standards.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to understand application performance and scalability needs.
  • Develop and maintain architecture, operational, and troubleshooting documentation.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience with
    Azure DevOps tools and practices

  • Strong expertise in
    CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
    .
  • Proven experience with
    Terraform
    and
    Ansible
    for infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience with

    and
    Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)

  • Practical experience using
