The Capability Lead -Business Analysis position reports into the Manager Business Analysis within the Digital Solution Delivery branch. The branch sits within the Digital Data and Insights (DDI) group.
**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
The Capability Lead Business Analysis makes a significant contribution to the overall effectiveness of our IT deliverables through the leadership, management, direction, and development of high calibre Business Analyst services that in turn underwrites the success of our technology programmes.
The Capability Lead - Business Analysis is responsible for day-to-day people care management and will have a number of Business Analysts as direct reports. They will be expected to have a People Leadership and Business Analysis background and be able to engage intelligently with multiple stakeholders as a trusted advisor and team members as a trusted coach.

To be successful in this role you will have;
- Proven People Leadership experience
- Experience and ability to effectively lead a team of Business Analysts
- Proven workforce planning and management experience
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
- Proven Business Analysis practitioner and Delivery Management experience
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively
- Sound problem solving skills and an eye for detail
- Have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
