**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced **IT Business Consultant** to join our team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role.

This role is based in Auckland and reports to the Head of IT Demand and Planning (Sydney). You'll serve as the primary IT engagement lead for the New Zealand business, working closely with senior stakeholders to identify, shape and deliver IT solutions that align with business strategy.

You will also lead a team of IT Business Analysts, helping to translate business needs into actionable IT initiatives and supporting the successful delivery of these initiatives in partnership with our Portfolio Management team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as a trusted IT advisor to NZ executive leaders, providing consulting services and strategic guidance.
- Lead business engagement and relationship management, ensuring strong understanding of current and future needs.
- Collaborate with business units to map processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Build and maintain the IT demand pipeline, aligning initiatives to business priorities and ensuring robust governance.
- Partner with the broader IT leadership team to promote high performance, collaboration, and a positive culture.

**About You**
- Technology-based degree (or equivalent) and 10+ years' experience in IT, including consulting or business partnering.
- Proven ability to engage at senior levels, with strong relationship management, influencing and communication skills.
- Experience leading or mentoring business analysts and driving IT initiatives from discovery through to delivery.
- Understanding of FMCG, manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain or sales systems is highly desirable.
