**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

A Student Mobility Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and supporting student exchange and study abroad programmes. They establish and maintain international partnerships, negotiate agreements, and handle compliance with legal and safety regulations.

**Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities**
- Manage student mobility programs (study abroad, exchanges,) in alignment with institutional policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with international partner institutions and organizations; negotiate and manage MOUs and agreements.
- Promote mobility opportunities through outreach campaigns, information sessions, and materials to boost participation.
- Track and maintain records of student participation, outcomes, and feedback to improve programs.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional requirements, including visa, immigration, safety, and insurance protocols.
- Organise logistics for students, including travel, accommodation, insurance, and orientation programs.

The successful applicant for this role will have:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding and respecting cultural differences to better support students and international partners
- Effectively manage the mobility process, address challenges, and enhance the student experience
- Collaborative mindset to support both the institution and students
- Understanding of partnerships, agreements, and credit transfer processes.
- Previous experience working in a university is an advantage
