We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) Advisor to help deliver and build excellence in our processes and ensure the HS&W of our amazing Wētā crew. This role reports to the H&S Manager and sits within our Talent & Culture team.
A confident and effective communicator, you’ll be working to provide hands-on support to managers and crew to facilitate the effectiveness of the HS&W programme and to identify emerging issues and opportunities. You’ll also lead HS&W engagement for crew and ensure all HS&W processes are in place, maintained and continuously improved.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the safety management system
- Maintenance and development of the HS&W SharePoint site and other communication tools
- Preparing and facilitating relevant training for managers and crew
- Responding to incidents, and implementing any recommendations received
- Record maintenance, reporting and analysis of HS&W trend indicator information
- Management of suppliers for HS&W services, including budget tracking.
**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications are an advantage
- Familiarity with H&S legislation & Management Systems
