We are looking for two passionate, experienced, and operationally focused Health and Safety Advisors to join our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team. These two roles will work closely with each other while having a focus on either the GCSB or NZSIS as separate agencies. This is an exciting time to join the Intelligence Community, where you will have the opportunity to work across a wide breadth of health and safety areas and influence change.
You will play a crucial role in helping to build the health and safety culture across the agencies and will work closely with Health and Safety Representatives and Site Managers to enable leaders to eliminate or minimise risks. In this role you will also play an important role supporting incident management teams during periods of disruption such as COVID-19 response.
We are looking for two health and safety stars who take pride in building relationships and have a pragmatic and collaborative approach to health, safety and wellbeing. The role will require flexibility to travel domestically as required.
About you

**You need**:

- A passion for Health, Safety and Wellbeing and getting stuck in to make a difference
- A great track record working in health and safety with excellent knowledge of relevant NZ legislation in HSE
- Proven experience with implementing solutions to reduce risk
- Experience leading or supporting investigations and response to incidents
- Strong relationship and communication skills, with a coaching emphasis
- Highly motivated with a practical approach to health, safety and wellbeing
- Drivers Licence (current, full & clean)

The role will preferably be based in Wellington but we are also open to the possibility of the role being based in Auckland for the right person.
