**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We are seeking a **Research Nurse **to join The Liggins Institute. You will be assisting with the coordination and conduct of two clinical trials and one observational study in the Gut Bugs programme.
Key responsibilities in the role include:
- Coordination of appointments, and liaising with participants regarding scheduled appointments, activities, and queries.
- Management of documentation and consumables, including preparation and stock management.
- Conduct clinical research visits, including oversight of research assistants
- Successfully complete clinical evaluations including biological sampling, clinical assessments, and administration of questionnaires according to study protocol and SOPs
This is a **full-time** (37.5 hours per week), **Fixed-term** (25 Months) opportunity. We offer a competitive salary depending on qualifications and experience.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a Nursing or medical degree, and work experience.
- Experience with electronic data entry
- Experience with phlebotomy and intravenous fluid management
- Understanding of clinical trial operations
- Proven track record of achieving targets and deliverables
- Demonstrated competency using IT systems
