**The role**:
As Contracts Manager (Buildings) reporting to our Property Manager, you will undertake the day-to-day management of construction and maintenance contracts for our sub-stations, reticulation, and our corporate assets. This is a varied role that will see you out in the field, engaging across the business and ensuring our assets are looked after and our people are working in a safe environment.

You might be coming from a similar role to this, or you are an experienced tradesperson with knowledge of this environment who is looking to get off the tools and take that next step in your career, it’s all about you

**A little more about the role**:

- Manage construction and maintenance of our property contracts and related budgets
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders including Asset Managers and Project Managers
- Ensuring documentation meets legislative requirements and actively mitigate design configurations and potential issues
- Facilities management of administrative buildings, substations, corporate properties and leases
- Complete urgent, unplanned and emergency maintenance and required on-site management

**A little more about you**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role including construction, facilities management, contract or Project Management work
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and projects with excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Electricity Act, Regulations, Electrical Codes of Practice and SMEI’s
- An understanding of H&S at Work Act and Traffic Management would be an advantage
- A continuous improvement outlook with a positive mindset
