**Job Summary**
The Financial Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and managing
financial and operational risks associated with the company’s remittance and foreign
exchange operations. This role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail,
and a deep understanding of financial compliance and risk frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk management frameworks and internal control
systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments for remittance, FX, and investment operations.
- Analyse financial performance and exposure to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT, FMA, and RBNZ regulations.
- Prepare periodic risk reports and advise management on risk appetite and capital
adequacy.
- Work closely with compliance, finance, and audit teams to strengthen governance
processes.
- Provide training to staff on risk awareness and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in financial risk management, banking, or
foreign exchange.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment models, financial instruments, and compliance
regulations.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
