**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:
- Identify, assess, and analyze financial risks such as market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk.
- Develop risk management strategies and policies to minimize exposure to financial risks.
- Monitor and evaluate risk metrics and key risk indicators to assess the organization's risk profile.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, treasury, and compliance, to implement risk management processes.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of potential risk events on the organization's financial performance.
- Communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain risk models and analytics tools to support risk management activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in financial risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) is preferred.
- 5 years proven experience in financial risk management, preferably in a banking, financial services, or corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify potential risks.
- Excellent understanding of financial markets, products, and risk management techniques.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
