**About the Role**
To work alongside the NZ People Lead to provide HR administration and resourcing support to the business, covering all elements of the employee lifecycle including onboarding.
To act as the first line of support for People Leaders on all elements of HR and Resourcing Administration.
This role is a temporary role with the potential to go permanent for the right person.
**Key Role Responsibilities**:
- Be the first point of contact for all resourcing-related questions from People Leaders
- Role profile maintenance and updates
- Placing and drafting job adverts for vacant positions via various sourcing channels
- Manage the pre-employment check process for new starters and advise People Leaders when there is a concern
- Daily maintenance of employee records, including new employees, departures and updating the HRIS and payroll department
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, leave, policies and procedures
- Responsible for the end-to-end process of contract creation for all non-executive positions which includes separations, probation, change of roles and any changes to employee terms
- Manage user access to all HR-owned systems, such as Workplace, LMS, and Donesafe - including new starters and changes in positions
- Obtain and review leave liability reports, and alert appropriate department leaders of employees that are outside the leave policy for action.
- Assist People Lead with the drafting of employee letters ie incentive letters, parental leave, investigation letters and performance management plans
- Organisational and Engagement
- Maintain People and Cultures cyclical calendar and the organisation of annual events such as (R U OK day, IWD etc
- Meeting notes and follow-up actions for the Leadership Weekly team meetings
- Management of all administration for the employee rewards, service and recognition programs
- Health, Safety and Wellbeing
**About You**
- 1 to 2 years experience within an HR or Resourcing Assistant position with exposure to HR processes
- Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS systems
- Strong customer service background with a passion for creating a first-class employee experience
- High levels of attention to detail and exceptional communication skills;
- Demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate-level experience in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- High level of confidently
- Ability to resolve challenges and provide timely solutions to issues within your remit
- Ability to be agile and adapt to changing situations while juggling own time management and organisational skills
